The agreement
By creating an account on Taktly (operated by the team behind gettaktly.com — "we," "us"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the product.
What Taktly does
Taktly helps you structure continuous-improvement work — DMAIC, Lean, process improvement, standard work — with intelligence that flags weak work and recommends improvements. We provide the software. You provide the project content, decisions, and judgment.
Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your password safe.
- One account per person. Don't share logins. If you need team access, use the team plan.
- You must be at least 16 to use Taktly.
Your content stays yours
Everything you type into Taktly — charters, problem statements, data, CAPA items, uploads — is your content. You own it. We don't claim any rights to it beyond what we need to run the product (store it, show it back to you, generate the automated output you ask for, back it up).
What you can't do
Don't:
- Use Taktly to do anything illegal, or to upload content that violates someone else's rights.
- Try to break, scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.
- Resell Taktly or wrap it in your own product without a written agreement with us.
- Use Taktly to make decisions where AI hallucination could harm people without human review (e.g., sole basis for a regulatory submission, sole basis for a clinical decision). Taktly strengthens your work — it doesn't replace your judgment.
AI output
Taktly's AI assistance generates recommendations based on what you type. AI output can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing every AI-generated output before relying on it. We do our best to make the AI honest about what it knows — see the AI guardrails described on the
Trust page — but we don't guarantee accuracy.
Plans, billing, and refunds
- Free plan: one active project. No credit card required. Free forever.
- Paid plans: billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds:if something is genuinely broken on our end and we can't fix it, email hello@gettaktly.com and we'll work it out. No charge-back games.
- Price changes:we'll email you at least 30 days before any price change.
If you stop using Taktly
You can delete your account anytime. We delete your project content within 30 days. If we have to suspend or close your account because of a terms violation, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to export your work first, except in cases of fraud or abuse.
Service availability
We work hard to keep Taktly up. We don't guarantee zero downtime — software breaks, vendors have outages, things happen. If we're aware of a major outage we'll post about it. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance when we can.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Taktly's total liability to you for anything related to the service is limited to what you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost data when you had a way to back it up, etc.).
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after that is acceptance. If you don't accept, close your account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflicts of laws. Disputes go to courts in Delaware unless we both agree to arbitration.
